Spreading cheer through young girls hearts

22-year-old Tynisha Jackson is a cheerleader from Arlington, Texas. Since the youthful age of 4, Jackson has always excelled in cheerleading and her favorite part is the relationships she has created because of the sport. Her love and passion have led her to win two collegiate world championships and take on the leadership role of senior captain. For the past 3 summers, Jackson has worked for the Universal Cheerleading Association which is a cheerleading company that teaches middle school and high school-aged students a variety of cheers, chants, and stunts. This job plays a crucial role in young cheerleaders and the experience can often time make or break how the athlete feels about the sports. This is the main reason Jackson loves her job so much because she believes she can create a positive outlook in the childrens eyes to help them love cheer just as much as she does. Because of all the different trends cheerleading is made up of it has led Jackson down the road of being an electronic media major and fashion merchandising minor. She hopes to continue building relationships along the way through every path she walks down and never forget the cheer and spirit that has helped mold her as the person she is today.
