Meet Wesley Moore

Twenty Two years ago in the small town of Nacadoches, Wesley Moore was born. He later moved to the great Mo City (the one Travis Scott raps about in love galore!!) and can't wait to go back. Wesley is an Advertising major here at Texas State with a double minor in art and sociology. Whenever he's not busy with school, Wesley enjoys listening to 90's R&B, hanging with friends and family, and sleeping. His motto is "Eating is life" which only makes me respect him even more. Pizza and chicken strips are his favorite foods, he even knows how to say chicken in Spanish- which is a good skill to have. Wesley has been an avid sims player since the young age of 9 and still plays today. Since he is big home body, you can usually find him at home watching shows like insecure, living single, or golden girls. When he has time for a movie marathon his go to's are bring it on (the first one of course) or Harry Potter. After graduation, Wesley hopes to become an assistant creative director or a Media Planner. All he knows for sure is that he wants to go back home and be with his friends and family!

Texas State sexual assault survivors talk accountability, victim blaming

By Iris Gonzalez i_g125@txstate.edu SAN MARCOS, Texas – In observation of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, various Texas State students gave their insight to the topics of sexual assault, accountability and consent in student-conducted interviews this April. She didn’t name names or give details, but the fact still stands that Thompson was assaulted and believes that universities are not doing enough to make sure people like her assailant face the consequences they deserve. “The people committing [sexual assault] know that they won’t be held accountable,” said Thompson. “[Universities] need to start thoroughly investigating the situation and...
